Their Story
Marc and Mary's story is a beautiful reminder that the best love stories are built on a foundation of friendship and a great sense of humor. These two are high school sweethearts who have been side-by-side since the beginning. In a nod to where it all started, they took their original high school prom pictures at a Wendy’s. It was only fitting that when we met for their engagement session in the fall of 2022, we headed right back to Wendy’s to recreate that magic before exploring the scenic trails of Yahoola Creek Park in Dahlonega.
Capturing their engagement was just the start. By the time their wedding arrived in November 2023, the anticipation was incredible. The day began with a late afternoon Catholic ceremony that was both timeless and intimate. As they walked out of the church as husband and wife, a perfect autumn breeze greeted us, and the start of a breathtaking sunset over the North Georgia mountains.
The reception was held against a backdrop of mountain peaks, glowing in the fading November light. From the moment the music started, the love in the room was palpable. The evening was a perfect balance of high-energy dancing and deeply emotional, tear-jerking speeches that celebrated the decade of history Mary and Marc share.
Being able to document this journey through both photography and film was such an honor.
